Featured Artist:	Krista Zeghers More Info Krista lives in rural Manitoba and has been creating fibre art works for the two decades. She belongs to three professional groups: Fibre Arts Network (FAN) a western Canadian group; Textile and Fibre Artists of Manitoba group; and the Mavericks, an Arizonan group, that all support her in her continued growth as an artist. Krista’s travels and nature inspire her artwork. Krista loves artwork where the image is recognizable to the viewer, but has something unique and special about it. There could be a change of scale, a different colour scheme, a close up of a small section, a repeated pattern or shape; any element that makes the work come alive and provides interest. MPQ 2025 RAFFLE QUILT TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE

This stunning quilt is 94 inches square and is called "Hidden Gems". The draw for this beautifully pieced and exquisitely quilted work of art will be held at the Quilt Reflections Show on April 12, 2025. Tickets are now available for purchase or to sell. We will be posting the QR2025 Challenge Quilts to be auctioned at the show with proceeds going to the bike program and the Children's Rehabilitation Foundation as they come in. Members that have purchased kits are encouraged to submit the quilts when they are completed - deadline is April 1, 2025.
