SUMMARY:MPQ General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In Person Meeting with ZOOM component. \n🍂 October at MPQ – Quilts\, Stories & a Little Fundraising Fun!\nOur October meeting has something for everyone—and maybe a little inspiration to take home with you!\n\n\nGail Langdorfer – 19 Quilts\, One Extraordinary Story\nOver more than two years of the COVID-19 pandemic\, Gail designed\, sewed\, and quilted 19 quilts\, using quilting as both a creative and therapeutic outlet. Each quilt was inspired by the personal\, social\, and political experiences of that time. Together\, they create a fascinating visual diary of the pandemic.\n\n\nChildren’s Rehabilitation Foundation\nThe Quilt Reflections Challenge Quilt charity of choice will join us to share more about the Foundation\, the work they do\, and how the funds raised through our challenge quilt can make a difference in the lives of Manitoba children and families.\n\n\nBox Top Challenge – Fundraising Reveal!\nThe moment we’ve been waiting for! Find out how much our Box Top Challenge raised. Be sure to bring your $15!\n\n\nAnd\, of course\, we’ll have all the MPQ favourites you’ve come to expect—Fat Quarter Draw\, Retro Draw\, Prize Wheel\, and plenty of time to connect with fellow quilters.\nCome for the quilts\, stay for the fun—and leave inspired! 🧵✨
