Manitoba Prairie Quilters Welcomes You!
Founded in 1983, the members of MPQ are dedicated to enriching the art of quilt-making. Quilters and artisans alike come together and share ideas, gift their skills, refine their art, and bind it all together with fun!
Manitoba Prairie Quilters offers a little bit of something for everyone; whether learning is your passion or teaching your gift. We encourage and welcome quilters of all skill levels — your experience is important to us and hope you’ll share it with the group.

Come as a guest - stay as a friend. Our meetings are open to all who wish to explore the world of quilting, quilt-making, fabric and textile arts of all types.
Helen Maslowski Memorial Award 
The Manitoba Prairie Quilters proudly introduces the Helen Maslowski Memorial Award for Outstanding Contributions to Manitoba Prairie Quilters and Quilt Reflections. This award honours the legacy of Helen who passed in May 2024. She was a dedicated and generous member whose passion for quilting and unwavering support enriched our guild for many years. The award will recognize individuals who embody her spirit of creativity, mentorship, and generosity, ensuring that her contributions continue to inspire future generations of quilters.
The award recipient will be determined by the Executive and presented at the biennial Quilt Reflections awards banquet. This will be a member funded award with matching funds from the guild up to $125.00 per year it is awarded. Your contributions will allow the award to continue to recognize outstanding members of our guild.
