Manitoba Prairie Quilters Welcomes You!

We’re sew excited that you’re visiting us and hope we can be your source for all things quilting! Founded in 1983, the members of MPQ are dedicated to enriching the art of quilt-making.  Quilters and artisans alike come together and share ideas, gift their skills, refine their art, and bind it all together with fun!
Manitoba Prairie Quilters offers a little bit of something for everyone; whether learning is your passion or teaching your gift.  Your ideas are welcomed in a unique environment where one quilter’s mis-stitch is another’s inspiration.  We encourage and welcome quilters of all skill levels — your experience is important to us and hope you’ll share it with the group.
Maybe window shopping is more your style (unless we’re talking about a fabric store of course) — this site is designed with you in mind.  Learn about how to get involved, when classes are held, what membership offers to enrich your quilty world, and meet some fellow-quilters.  You may be surprised who you’ll see and meet.
Quilting and the artistry of thread and fabric creations are what bring us together, how you choose to add your personal flair and unique style is limitless.  We’ll all be excited for you to show us at next meeting’s show and tell!
